[China News Service, 16 November] (Zhang Lu, Suo Youwei) The 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (Hi-Tech Fair) is currently being held in Shenzhen. The cutting-edge technologies brought by Hong Kong enterprises, such as robotics, textile and apparel R&D, and nanomaterials etc., were particularly eye-catching, demonstrating their innovation capabilities and their momentum of integrating into the bay area.
In this year’s hi-tech fair, from the “Hong Kong Pavilion” to the “Hong Kong Macau Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base” and “HKU Techno-Entrepreneurship Academy”, many Hong Kong enterprises showcased their achievements in innovation in the various incubation centers within Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
In the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Center (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Center) booth, Zyetric Technologies, led by young entrepreneur Patrick Lam, joined the “Guangdong Technology Release No.30” project pitching event as a recommended project, and interacted with investment and financial firms.
Zyetric’s co-founder and chief operating officer Leslie Chu introduced that Zhowcase, invented by Zyetric, is the world’s first generative AI real-time facial translation SaaS platform. Zhowcase can accurately translate the content spoken by the speaker in the video to 32 languages, and match the speaker’s voice, tone, and facial expressions in the original video.
“Zyetric has 18 China and US patents, and Zhowcase can be applied into real-time translation scenarios like global product launches, university lectures, international conferences, and movie translations” Leslie Chu said that Zhowcase is favoured by both domestic and overseas markets, and customers have already come to us for discussion, and we are in the process of communicating the details of the cooperation.
Liu Yi, Manager of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Center, said that as of today, the incubation center has incubated over 5700 projects and attracted and employed over 8000 Hong Kong and Macau skilled youths, and the annual output value of the incubated projects has exceeded RMB 7 billion.
